Biography

Dr. David J. Martin is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.  Dr. Martin graduated from the College of  Idaho and continued his education at Northwestern University, where he completed Medical School and Residency.  Dr. Martin moved to Tucson, Arizona from Chicago in 1981 to begin his practice in orthopedic surgery.  He has been a solo practitioner since 1988, specializing in hips and knees.  Dr. Martin is one of the first doctors in the country to utilize computer assisted surgical techniques for the accurate placement of knee joints.  He enjoys painting, sailing, archery and many other activities.  Dr. Martin and his wife have been married for more than twenty- five years and have two wonderful children.
